Warranty Policy

D & G Supply warrants that all units repaired, overhauled or exchanged by D & G Supply shall be free from defects in material and workmanship when subjected to normal use and service for three hundred, sixty (360) calendar days from shipment or three hundred hours (300) of aircraft operation after installation, whichever occurs first, if the following conditions are met:

  • The requirements of the "Warranty Procedure" involving the warranty registration card have been followed after installation of the unit.
  • The unit, warranty claim and the owner's portion of the warranty registration card have been returned to D & G Supply within thirty (30) days of the product failure date.
  • The unit must be "as removed" and not disassembled, repaired or altered. This expressly includes the breaking or removing of any lock wire or similar locking features.
  • The unit shall not have been subject to misuse, accident, or improper storage, handling, operation or installation unless written proof is submitted to the satisfaction of D & G Supply that such abuse was not a cause of the claimed defect.

Units that are only functionally tested and/or time recertified by D & G Supply are not covered by this warranty.

This warranty covers only component parts replaced and/or functions of the unit repaired by D & G Supply.

Labor required for removal, reinstallation, aircraft down time and other related charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

All shipping charges, custom duties, taxes, tarriffs, or other related charges for the returned unit will be the sole responsibility of the customer. All shipments should be insured for replacement value. Proper packaging technique must be followed or the warranty may be voided.

Units returned to D & G Supply for warranty repair that are found to be within manufacturers tolerances and specifications will be subject to recertification charges.

Warranty Procedure

A two-part warranty registration card is included with each unit. The card is marked with the unit part number, serial number and the D & G Supply original work order number.

The warranty registration card must be completed by the agency responsible for installation showing all the required information and mailed to D & G Supply within 10 days of installation.

The owner's portion of the warranty registration card should be kept with the engine's or aircraft's log book and/or paperwork file. When requesting warranty consideration, this card must be completed and returned to D & G Supply with the unit.

Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

There are no expressed or implied warranties by D & G Supply which extend beyond the description, or the face hereof. Except for the provisions set forth under the "Warranty Policy", there are no warrants of merchantability or otherwise. The extend of D & G Supply's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair of overhauled units and at our option, the repair or replacement of exchanged units. All other remedies against D & G Supply for consequential or other damages arising out of the sale, use, or operation of the accessory is excluded.

In no event, whether as result of breach of contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall D & G Supply be liable for any special, consequential, incidental, or penal damages or expenses, including but not limited to, costs of removal and replacement of the product(s), loss of associated equipment, damage to associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of substitute products, facilities, or services, down time, or costs or claims of third parties for such damages or expense.
